Hey there my future studying buddy! I'm trying to start a track starting with CCNA but procrastination is getting the best of me and I'm really not into online contents so need a real push .. Would be great if we both are on the same track so we would have the same tasks

Actually I'm having Google IT support courses on going now on coursera ... On their second course Bit and bytes of Networking ... And i think they have like a deal with CopTIA .. not sure if it was with Cisco CCNA course or Google IT support courses .. I'm a bit lost

Google IT support?! Really cool ... Way sorted an easier than CCNA courses by Cisco ... And it feels like you are having a mentor even while i'm still haven't Attended any zoom class or so yet ... I haven't took a serious step yet thou

hm Interesting, I was quite skeptical regarding taking an actual course, since all the materials are available online and you just got to do it yourself anyway, but didnt think that the course can actually provide the mentor sort of thing

About coursera you do pay for the course so I think they have a team for teaching aid team and you even can contact a mentor if you have questions I think ... Also it's telling you your progress and the Estimated time to get done with your course which actually makes me feel better than any online materials of any course you find any where online which feels incomplete if you know what I mean far from the certificate you get from google by the end to add to your LinkedIn account when you get your course done ... Also it's cool easy to study there also the content was not showing some figures so I just keep googling while going throw the reading sections which make stuff way better .. but for their visual content they are really thorough...

Yea all this sounds appealing. Having someone or something tracking your progress is pretty motivating.

Not at all really ... All I know that this is the track I'm picking and willing to pursuit!

How is your overall computing knowledge?
I started on my track less than 2 years ago from a "granny" level where I didn't know know the basics of computing let alone networking. Now a bit better but compared to my colleagues - still pretty fresh.

I mean it depends how you define computing knowledge ... I'm a gamer so i love dealing with computers ... Love hardware stuff more thou but still feels as a piece of cake for me ... Networking is a whole different story ...
