We are honored to welcome Amazon Web Services (AWS) to edX, and to announce that AWS is offering the AWS Developer Professional Series to the global community of edX learners.
AWS offers over 100 fully featured services for compute, storage, databases, networking, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), mobile, security, hybrid, and application developments, deployment, and management from 46 Availability Zones (AZs) across 17 geographic regions. AWS services are trusted by millions of active customers around the world — including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies — to power their infrastructure, make them more agile, and lower costs.
AWS is launching the AWS Developer Professional Series, a three part skills series teaching developers how to use their software and devops skills on AWS . The courses build upon each other to give developers the skills to create AWS cloud-based applications using the AWS SDK and Python programming language. All three courses are self-paced and open for enrollment:
AWS and edX are both dedicated to providing learners with the opportunity to build upon or learn new professional skills, especially in critical areas such as cloud computing. We are excited by our collaboration, and look forward to sharing availability of new courses in the future.
