In this interview, we meet Archana Thakran who has been working in the space of Open Educational Resources (OER) since 2013. Her expertise lies in conducting hands-on training workshops for faculty, policy makers, entrepreneurs and content creators on the use of OER for teaching and learning purposes. So far, she has trained over 1000 faculty and she recently conducted a Webinar on the practical use of OER.
Besides being involved in training, she also gained experience of taking MOOCs for self-learning when she was a student.
Archana holds a Masters in Biotechnology and a Bachelors in Medical Biotechnology and worked as a Research analyst before entering the education sector. Currently she is working with Amity University as Deputy Manager.
