CNMOOC is a cooperative alliance of a number of Chinese universities offering over 750 open online courses available to anyone wishing to enrol. The courses run on a scheduled basis and are made up of videos, online assignments and tests and provide discussion forums for peer interaction and support. Students who successfully complete a course and pass the final online exam can apply for a course certificate for 100 yuan. Individuals studying at any of the partner institutions and who who meet the requirements can also earn university credits within the scope of the “CNMOOC” program recognized by their school.
